St Anne's Residential Care Home is situated in the picturesque village of Clifton, near Deddington, in rural North Oxfordshire. This beautifully restored home has a mellow 16th century facade of Hornton Stone, though the property itself has been extensively renovated to offer purpose built accommodation for 22 residents.

St. Annes Residential Care Home provides specialised care for those with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Our highly experienced and well-trained staff are committed to ensuring that each resident’s privacy, dignity and personal preferences are upheld within a safe and secure environment. We believe in the therapeutic nature of pets in dementia care and provide a pet-friendly home which our residents thoroughly enjoy.

A range of exciting activities

Thorough assessments are conducted prior to admission and care plans are updated regularly to ensure the best possible individual care. We strive to offer our residents a comprehensive programme of both group and one-to-one activities.

Scenic, spacious surroundings

Situated in rural North Oxfordshire, St. Annes is an attractive former cottage with stables, which have been sympathetically extended, giving plenty of access to the spacious gardens. Bedrooms are generously sized with their own televisions and nurse call bells and the majority are en-suite. Residents are encouraged to bring their own personal effects to individualise their rooms to promote reminiscence.

The feature of St. Annes I admire the most is the kindness and affection the staff display towards the residents. This makes it completely different from any other residential and nursing home I have known. They have only you to love them; we are too remote and visit too infrequently, it’s the day-to-day contact that means the most. Her years at St. Annes have been happy ones, happier indeed than I had supposed her condition would permit. Always a happy atmosphere, very caring and patient staff, the food looks excellent, good diverse range of activities, clean, tidy and the air smells fresh.
