Since first opening in 1985, we have striven to provide the best possible nursing care for each individual resident, within a home-like, family environment.
Cancer lost the fight!
A woman who has defied the odds by surviving cancer for 36 years hopes her story will inspire others living with the illness.
Margaret Hannant, now 68, of Deacon Way, Banbury, was 32 when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 1979. Before that the mother-of-two had been going to her GP for years because she was feeling unwell and losing weight, but nothing was found. Mrs Hannant, who worked as a nurse, said: “I kept coming in but they said there was nothing wrong with me, but I knew I was ill.” It was not until she collapsed and was rushed to the Horton General Hospital for surgery that the cancer was finally discovered.. .
Creative Care Homes
We offer day care, with or without nursing, to support clients who suffer from conditions such as dementia, Parkinson's disease or learning difficulties, and give their carers a break. Traditional day care centres cannot always cope with the higher needs of this client group, but at our specialist dementia homes we can help. .
