Welcome to Creative Care

Here at Creative Care we believe in freedom, independence and choice. You’ll find truly personalised care that combines one-to-one support with appropriate, engaging activities and experiences. Our aim is to provide a high standard of care in a well-maintained, homely environment. Our well established team of registered nurses have many years of experience in caring for adults and the elderly.

“GOLD STANDARDS FRAMEWORK AWARD!”

Not only are we still enjoying being classed as outstanding according to our CQC Report, and are delighted to stay COVID free during this heartbreaking pandemic, but we also have some further exciting news to share with you.

Fewcott House Nursing Home has been accredited with the Gold Standards Framework Award. The aim of the Gold Standards Framework Award is to enable a ‘gold standard’ of care to help people live well before they die, and to die well in the place and the manner of their choosing. There are 128 Care Homes in Oxfordshire and we are one of only 5 that have achieved this!

As a thank you to all our staff and to celebrate with our residents, this week we have enjoyed eating fish and chips out of the paper from the local van like the good old days and have had the ice-cream man visit weekly to keep us all cool in the somewhat unpredictable weather!

Well done to all staff for this great achievement!!

Also check out the new extension over on the Fewcott House page, hopefully there will be more photos to come soon!

What’s more, Fewcott House Nursing Home has been successfully accredited as a Veteran Friendly Care Home, as part of the VFF Programme.  Fewcott House is the first non-military care home in the Southeast to receive VFF status, a huge achievement.

I found the home to be very nice. The grounds are lovely in the Spring and Summer with lots of wildlife. The home itself is nice and clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Meals are good and they are happy to change the menu if they can. The decoration of the home is very good with various different themes.

Son of Resident

Our parents are now permanent residents at Fewcott House Nursing Home after spending 70 years living independently. The staff were fantastic helping us to settle them in and they could not do enough to make their room a home from home.

We are delighted with the care that they receive and they constantly put our minds at rest that they are being looked after to the highest standard. The food is tailor made to each resident’s personal taste and various activities are arranged at regular intervals.

We are all really happy with Fewcott House, Mum and Dad have settled in nicely and are now able to enjoy each their days in a very warm and caring environment.
